Seymour Mullens is based in the heart of Eastbourne’s ‘business district’, occupying an Edwardian property in a square with gardens in between, but now given over to car parking either side of the lawns and the trees, and further developed by the creation of the Tourist Information Office.

Hyde Gardens is the home to many of the town’s leading firms of solicitors, accountants, financial advisors and other professional practices.

In the past, unkinder critics have referred to Eastbourne as ‘God’s waiting room’ to which the response was usually that Eastbourne is indeed home to many elderly residents – but that their parents are still living in Bexhill or Worthing!
